Plastic gadget that holds the PCV filter in place

Hi all,

A while back, I took out my absorbent filter and replaced it with the "fit and forget" filter. I now want to revert to the old, absorbent kind. I've bought the filter kit but it doesn't have the plastic retainer thing. I suspect I might have thrown mine away when I installed the "fit and forget". Unless of course, our cars don't have this retainer and it'd just for BMWs.

Here's a link to what I'm on about...it's the black, plastic bit that has a ring on the end of it and seems to be holding the filter in place.

Does anybody have one of these that I could buy, please? (If I need one!)

Many thanks,

J.

That would be very helpful, thank you! I only need the the black retainer really and I guess that would be cheaper to post. Do you want to PM me, to arrange cost and get my address, please? By the way...I don't suppose you have one of those indicator retaining clips, do you? That would be a very impressive double, if you do.

Many thanks,

J.
