North west meets
 

Can anyone tell me where and when the north west meet is as I've read an old post telling me location but not sure this is still current. Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,

There is a meet every first Tuesday in the month at the CAT & LION in STRETTON. Post code is WA4 4NB and for me it is exit 10 off the M56 then about 1/2 a mile away.

There also used to be a meet at the same place every third Sunday in the month at 12:00 pm but I believe that is now defunct.

So this is tomorrow night? I'm working in Manchester and fancy seeing what's near by. What's the usual turnout like?

I should be there all being well, turnout is usually about half a dozen.

Jim's not been too well and Mrs Incensed is in hospital, so I'm afraid Jim and I aren't going.

There's usually 4 to 6 others who go regularly.

Hope to be there next month.

As Robert says I've not been great the last couple of weeks.

Got rushed into hospital a week yesterday and had a three day stay, now back at home with a catheter and leg bag fitted awaiting the call to the clinic for a cystoscopy then a possible TURP.

Not sure mate not been for the last two months, though I think a couple at least go every month.

Not been too well myself with continuing bladder and enlarged prostrate issues plus now swollen ankles means I'm not walking too good as well, so I very much doubt I'll be there on Tuesday.

Usually half a dozen turn up on the Tuesday evening meets but I think the Sunday meets are no more. More about the social aspect these days as there are only one or two with 75’s.
I will probably go this evening (6th)

Should be at the meeting tonight, unfortunately without the goode Mr Chester (oww!) riding shotgun.

Sounds like something from Gunsmoke. I'm afraid there's unlikely to be a Miss Kitty there, but there might be some good chat (ouch!:getmecoat:) and some decent chow.
