Reverse Beep
 
The parking sencors on me tourer has been playing up for a while now. The beep when selecting reverse is now getting on me wick. Untill I get round to fixing the loom can I just disconnect the beep or is there more to it?

Hi,

If its a constant beep one of th sensors is faulty. Park car safely. Put on ignition and select reverse. Place your ear or some one with good earing:D over each sensor. Th fast click noise can be heard if you position your self correctly. This shows th functioning one. Th quiet one is faulty. Wiz off rear bumper and replace with one from th scrappy. I did and now one happy driver.;)

You can shut them up for now by disconnecting the parking sensor module, but probably takes as long to remove enough trim to get to it as removing the bumper and replacing the faulty sensor

If you know anyone with a T4 (and several of our members do have them), they can run a check to find out which sensor is faulty.
