South East Wales & Surrounding British Car Breakfast Club

Hi all.

Just testing the water as to what the other members here think to a new meet here in South-East Wales. :cool:

It will be a breakfast club meet on the 1st Sunday of the month.

The probable location is Cafe Cwtch at the country park just off the Maerdy Road, Aberdare at 9am. :}

It's a nice location with loads of parking; and more importantly a great breakfast! :drool4:

All comments appreciated. ;)

Sounds like a plan to me. Nice run over Maerdy mountain road early on a Sunday morning.;)

As soon as I get a chance (probably next Tuesday now) . I'm going to pop over and have a chat with Cafe Cwtch. They have quite a lot of car meets there, though - so I don't see a problem :D ;)

OK, so the first Breakfast Club meet will be on Sunday March the 25th 9am-1pm

This will be in collaboration with Ian Edwards GTFM motoring magazine 'Drivers Seat' too.

It will be held at Cafe Cwtch, Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff, CF44 7PT.

Café Cwtch is large but cosy café, with a 5 Star (hygiene) rating located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with amazing scenery and (of course) a large car park

Hotel and camping accommodation is also available on site - and just 15 minutes away from some of the most iconic and greatest driving roads on planet earth.

DIRECTIONS: Make for ABERDARE (CF44 7LB) – once in ABERDARE town centre follow the signs for MAERDY and then when climbing the hill out of ABERDARE town for MAERDY look out for the BROWN SIGNS for the DARE VALLEY PARK and then TURN RIGHT at the sign for the park.

For those interested there will also be a post-breakfast run up to Brecon, and then on to Builth Wells too for those who want to make a day of it :D

I will post this under it's own event thread, also ;)
