Some important news - RGG104962 & RGG10472 Rear Upper Arms under £70 per side

Well well well, here we are. I've been promising you all Rear Upper Arms at a lower price than they currently are for many years now, and after sampling several we've finally settled on a supplier and commissioned the order to go ahead.

They're going to be made by the OE supplier to SAIC, and supplied to us through official channels - some of you may have ordered some of the 193 we brought over from SAIC around 4-5 years ago.
We were always very pleased with the quality of these; having all brackets etc in the correct position and the overall build being very clean with a good finish.

We're going to offer these in a phased pre-order system to manage demand - with the pricing being significantly less than currently available elsewhere we anticipate that we'll have our work cut out!

Phase 1 (current) - We're offering the arms for £69.99 each when purchased as a pair - or £72.49 each individually. This pricing will apply to the first 50 pairs ordered as an 'early bird' discount.

Phase 2 (once the initial 50 have sold) - These will be priced at £74.99 each when purchased as a pair, or £77.49 each individually. This pricing will apply until the order is with us in the UK.

Phase 3 (normal sale) - This will be the pricing going forward, but rest assured we'll be keeping this as low as possible. We appreciate these are an absolutely vital part, and are keen to keep them affordable.

We're also offering a 5 year warranty on these arms.

Delivery is currently estimated to be January - February 2020, and of course we will keep you updated on progress via this thread.

Please PM or email [email protected] for any questions or trade enquiries.

So do we have some high resolution pictures of these arms?

I would be interested based on the fact I'm nit prepared to fit the Indian Xpart arms I have in stock.

I've not got any high resolution pics of the latest batch, but somewhere deep in the archives I do have some of the 193 we brought over last time - these are made by the same factory, and we've been assured these will be identical. :)

I went over the last long very closely, and they were 100%.

Great news but weren't you the one who said that the original tooling had been scrapped?

Confused, and would be interested in a pre-ordering a pair but need your assurance rather than the Chinese that these arms are identical. You say you've sampled several so you've actually seen them?

Don't expect a Xmas card from Xpart !

Regards

The original tooling (MGR) has been scrapped as far as I’m aware - this is the MG7 tooling, the same tooling our batch of 193 came from last time.

The quality of those 193 was excellent, and given these are from the same tooling and producer we’ve been assured these will be identical.
I’ve held these in my hand and inspected them in minute detail - they were absolutely 100%.

I'd often wondered how long it would take for somebody to notice that Chris ;)

That's good to hear! They'll be the same as the originals, so will fit perfectly. :)
