Under seat airbag connections

So, I've successfully replaced the terminals under the seats within the plugs for the pretensioner on my early ZT's to cure the air bag light, but the face-lift car I have seems to have different plugs (but still the same problems:mad:) Has anyone separated these before that can tell me how they come apart please?

Thanks in advance. Ben:}

Hi Ben.
Press in the side of the terminals, and pull apart, when re-fitting off set one of the pins very very very slightly, add a little Vaseline into the female part then push together, you can the cable tie round the length then two over each end.

Thanks Steve! I'm sure it's obvious but I couldn't see for looking. :o. Hopefully I can get this fixed. Much appreciated. :bowdown:

It was obvious. :o

Anyways, separated the plug assemblies and fitted and refitted the terminals a few times to try and clean the connections. Seems to have done the trick, as the air bag light checks and goes off as it should. Result.

Thanks Steve. :bowdown:
