caravan parking space at services

2 Attachment(s)
Stopped at some services on the A1 today with Tourer and caravan.
Do you think the space is suitable for a car and caravan:duh:
If a caravan had pulled up on my near side, while that car that had been on my offside but had left when photo was taken was still there, I'd never have gotten out.

Not enough swing road. I had stopped with the front of the car just in the space but found the back of the caravan blocking the road behined:eek:

I feel an email to management coming on:mad:

Sign says caravans only - maybe they expect you to decouple and park elsewhere to assist the caravan jacking thieves. :D

:duh: never saw that bit, perhaps that was why there was a single car space to my off side, that was for the car!

Looks to be a serious amount of nose weight there

The tourer seems to sit a bit low on the back and the permissible nose weight is 100kg, the van is not that.

Pair of spring assistors may help there? Used to have a pair on mine for towing, When I took them off, ( caravan went) I gave them away at one of the nano meets.

When out and about I avoid motorway services like the plague.
