2004 Connoisseur SE Auto (2.0 CDTi) in Firefrost

NOW SOLD!

Up for sale is my much loved 2004 Connoisseur SE Auto (2.0 CDTi) in Firefrost with smokestone interior with 164K on the clock and MOT until Mar 2020.

Maintained regardless of cost, I’ve spent almost £1500 on her over the past two years having the rear upper suspension arms and springs replaced, together with a new front wishbone this year. She has also had new front shocks and top suspension mounts replaced, together with the crankshaft pulley, auxiliary belt and new tensioners fitted. Two new front tyres also fitted recently.

All the sensible mods and upgrades are also present, such as:
Mini handbrake cable/compensator fitted
160 Remap
Boot lift kit
New discs all round
Bonnet release modification. plus bonnet release catches overhauled
Cruise control
Interior LED lighting
Uprated HID headlights and lenses refurbished
Towbar and full electrics
Inline thermostat
Plenum leafguards
Manual rear blind
Light oak dash replaced by genuine walnut
Deleted space saver in favour of Forkspoke alloy spare.

Now the bad bits – thanks to some kind soul in our office car park, there are three marks on the rear offside door which ideally need to be filled and repainted, or the door changed (possibly equal in cost).
Although listed as an insurance Category C, this is purely because a hit and run driver went down the side of the car three years ago and the insurance company decided it would cost too much to repair. It cost me a grand total of £275 to fit two replacement doors, front wing and have the rear wing resprayed - no major mechanical or alignment damage involved, purely cosmetic.

The car comes with an extensive file detailing virtually everything done/spent on it during its lifetime. Only selling due to the impending arrival of a company car and I’m absolutely sure that you’ll be very hard pressed to find a better example in as good a mechanical condition.

Original registration now restored.

Reading on the comments of some owners’ cars, there is no corrosion evident on the sills or anywhere else on this car and the suspension components have all been replaced as described.

I am looking for offers in the region of £1000.

Please PM me if you are interested or have any questions

Thanks

Ian

Price reduced!

As I really need to sell, and want the money I've invested in the car not to be wasted on someone who won't value, appreciate and maintain it as it should be, I am willing to reduce the price of the vehicle to £850.
