can you recommend a safe free Youtube downloader?
 

The Viddly YouTube Downloader I have used for years no longer works.
Downloaded more then my quota? Also seems it is no longer free.

Can you suggest and also provide a link to a safe free YouTube downloader please?

ignore the above post, I don't know what the problem was but I have found a workaround

I watch youtube a lot, but goodness knows how I get there, and I have had a nightcap, over the last two hours; On the kindlefire thingy it's as n application, and on the desktop I go through firefox or google, I think. Goog
D ,..,........oh blow it, goodn ok ght.

I see that Ian has now solved whatever the issue was.

Well not for me. I got the dreaded Blue Screen: not seen that for years. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've used Realplayer for years. At one point I actually paid for the upgrade version, to enable other things to be done. However recently they had another upgrade which then required another subscription so I didn't pay up. I'm using the free version again with no problems.
