User-configurable options
I was very pleased to find that you can turn the beeps off on the climate unit by holding down auto/off until a beep is heard. What else can be done - is there a list anywhere on the forum? It's a pity the auto rear window demister can't be turned off or the temperature threshold altered but that seems impossible.
Is autolocking a T4-only setting? If so what else can/should I think about tweaking if I get access to a T4? |
All functions need a T4 session. What can be set is governed by the loom that is in your car, the BCU/ECU fitted etc..... A T4 session will tell you what can and cannot be done ;)
And yes the rear demister is a pain, but unavoidable, short of re-wiring ;) |
You can disable the door operated interior lights by holding the main light button in until the light flashes once. I have mine off to save battery, rarely use the car at night. Who needs interior lights during the day? Hold button in again to re-enable.

To me it just doesn't make sense to trigger it on a temperature threshold. I know it's more likely that the window steams up in colder weather but it's not a concrete link. So we seem to be saying there's no other simple tweaks like the climate unit beep turn on/off then? Mind you I was pleased with that one! |

OK I dare say I'm in the minority, as is often the case, but I just don't see the problem. Malcolm |

It shouldn't HAVE to switch on with temperature :D |
