Bork and Beck 2 part clutch
I ordered one of these the other day and it came in a generic brown box.
Would these normally be packaged in retail boxes rather than the current which said made in Tiawan. Want to make sure I'm getting a genuine part. Stubs |

Any manufacturers name on the parts themselves? |

I'd certainly expect Borg and Beck parts to be supplied in a branded package - when i purchased Brake Discs/Pads they were packaged in a blue box with the red/blue logo
who was the supplier ? - i'm guessing ebay. Paul. |
It depends really, I've had them in plain boxes where the original cardboard sleeve over the box has been removed.
The maker will be stamped onto the pressure plate, and printed onto the friction material. What slave are you intending to use? Something cheap and cheerful HERE Brian :D |

In a genuine B&B kit, the pressure/cover plate should have Borg and Beck stamped on it somewhere, and the centre plate actually has LUK stamped on it. It should also come with a small sachet of spline grease to put on the input shaft splines/release bearing face. There were some fake/Chinese copy B&B kits circulating a couple of years back. Are you fitting this yourself ? Give us a shout if you need any help - I am just down the road. Pete |
