I'd say go see Kmaps, I got the 200 remap and the ZT can live with the wifes Jag XFS 3.0 V6. Its a no brainer to me, its much more driveable and that's saying something as it was lovely to drive before.

Errrrrr, I think you will find the Re-Map only applys to the Diesel Engine:shrug:

Errmmm ref the Advert

Ref the 150hp , does it actually take off 10 BHp from a 160 1.8T then :D :duh:

drewbie 16th October 2019 06:50

Thanks for all replies. I think my 1.8T is rated at 148Hp so I presume the advert is saying I can expect a 15 - 20% increase on that. Whilst I don't expect the same performance from a full £200 - £300 remap (if one exists) I did sort of like the plug and play side of it.

 it does look a bit more promising than those small OBD2 Plug ins - which i assume are all nonsense :D - there's only really one way to find out if it actually works :D

the fact it plugs in to the MAP Sensor suggests it could be a valid Performance Chip

K-Maps (ex Z&F) here - https://www.kmaps.co.uk/mg-zt-turbo
