Members new and old please read this before posting
When posting in this forum, please include when appropriate in the title The car model and engine and if relevant whether it is a Tourer or an Automatic etc., followed by a summary of the question or query, then expand on that in the main post.
E.g. Rover 75 Con Se CDTi Mk1 Tourer - rattle from rear tailgate or MG ZTT 2.5 V6 MK2 Saloon - Do I have a 160 or 190 BHP engine? I.e. a post titled "Help " alone is really not sufficient if you really want some prompt assistance The same applies to Part Number requests where a model description would be helpful to an answering member. E.g. Part number or alternative supplier required, Rover 75 Club SE 1.8T Saloon, Catalytic Converter. This saves time being wasted asking obvious "what engine, model etc. is it" questions. This applies to seasoned members as well, yes we all know what car Mike has so perhaps he could be excused but that's about it! :) This Forum accompanies the How to forum so please search that forum first before asking a question here. The How to titles are fairly self explanatory and the How to section has been broken down in to appropriate sections to make searching easier. Once you have found an answer to your question you may have become an expert on the subject, if so please consider writing a How to in the How to forum. Once members have had the opportunity to read and perhaps comment on your How to contact a Mod to move it to the appropriate How to sub forum and you have then contributed to the success of the club. and just a reminder that posts in the Technical Help section should be kept on topic |
Some members have as many as 3 different ones!! so it makes it all the more important!! Dave

Bump
Come on all you newbies, make the effort, if you want people to spend their time helping you at least try and follow the suggestion at the top of this thread! |
Can you also put your approx whereabouts on your Avatar. Like Manchester,
Essex, whatever. If it says UK don't expect anyone to offer to pop down and show you how to clean your plenums! Dave |
About time for another bump.
and just a reminder that posts in the Technical Help section should be kept on topic :) Thanks |

All posts in this thread should be on-topic as they are permanently archived to assist members in their search for relevant information on any problem they may have. The last thing members need is page after page of off-topic posts clouding the issue of the thread's initial post. This guidance applies to all specialist forums outside of the social forum.;) Please help us to help you :} |
Sadly time for a bump on this thread
