Rear Door Handle not working when door card refitted
 

A couple of weeks ago I adjusted the n/s/r door as now and again it wouldn’t open when the handle was pulled. I tested it worked several times after adjustment before refitting the door card, left it a couple of days, then when I went to try it again it wouldn’t open at all. Managed to get door card off and door opened, readjusted the threaded bar so it opens every time so far but before I fit the door card again is there anything obvious I am missing that may cause this fault to happen again?

Makes me wonder if the clip around the rod is a bit tired. It was suggested somewhere on the forum to tie a cable tie around the clip once it's attached to encourage it to stay in position. You could try that.

Ive also found sometimes one of my doors (which I've never touched) is happier to open when it's warmer outside. Make of that what you will :D

Yep, definitely going to be zip tieing it up, hopefully that’s all it needs. Thanks Andrew :cool:
