Club Calendar 2021 Submissions - Deadline 1st December
Club Calendar 2021 For the thirteenth year running, the club is preparing to produce a pictorial calendar for the new year. The format will be A3 glossy. Submissions are limited to one per member and it's open to all members. You are each invited to submit one picture only of your car for possible inclusion in the calendar. Scanned pictures must be 300 DPI A4 or digital photographs must be high quality for print at 2480px x 1748px in landscape mode. Obviously only twelve can be chosen and the final selection will be made by the Club Team. All technically suitable entries will be posted in a temporary gallery for all to view until the closing date for submissions, allowing all to see what images are being offered. Following the closing date, the team will decide on the final selection, however any comments about individual submissions prior to that point would be greatly appreciated. We always consider group photos of 75's and ZT's for the front cover so if you have any suitable quality pics from any of the meets they will also be considered. Submissions should be in jpeg (100%). To submit your photograph:- Simply send an email with your correctly sized jpeg photograph as an attachment to the following address :smilie_re: [email protected] Please could you include your forum username within the email message or title, and also include any additional background detail such as where the picture was taken and make and model etc. which we would be able to include in the calendar. Once I have received your picture, I will upload it for reference onto this thread and retain the full size original until it is ready for use. The closing date for submissions is midnight on Tuesday 1st December Small Print Copyright of submitted pictures must belong to the person submitting them, this to be transferred to the club for the purposes of creating the calendar. This is to cover the club in the event stock or studio photographs are submitted. Personal ownership, ie your own photographs, the club simply requires your permission which we will take as read by your submission. We also need to know whether you have a preference for displaying your number plate, or not. Blanking out of number plates may possibly render the picture unusable. |

Nice! Happy that my photo has arrived save and sound :)
Hopefully there is room for "foreign" cars this year :D In case my ZT-T doesn't make it to the calendar: the photo has been taken in August in Venzkow (Germany). Bit of a home coming for the car since it was originally sold in Germany (I'm the second owner :}) PS. Flying Banana has my vote! (Would be nice to see two ZT-T's :D) |
One image had been sent, a spring image celebrating the new life again. Hope you like it.
Cheers, Emiel |

Club Calendar 2021 Submissions - Deadline 1st December
Hi Paul,
Send you a email with my entry for this year’s calendar, let me know if size is ok Kind regards Roger (Limorog) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4299e074c7.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Hi have sent you the version without text. Cheers.
|
Sorry for the delay in updating this thread, I've been working away from home since last Thursday and only now just catching up.
Tom260, David75, Ratty, Snetty, Tam, Canonite, and Rick Sta your pictures are now added to post #2 for consideration. IanG and Limorog, yours are not high enough resolution for print I'm afraid. Can you send me the originals as jpeg attachments, rather than from image hosting sites? Also, Roger because the calendar page format is landscape not portrait, the top of the building in your picture would have to be cropped unfortunately. |
Landscape
Hi Reebs,
Just read your requirement is landscape rather than portrait, can I submit another if that is the case? Thanks Jennifer |

Don’t worry the one with the flags on in post #2 is a perfect landscape example, no need to submit again unless you want that one exchanged for the new one I’ve received? But just to clarify, it’s landscape as in shape of picture as opposed to landscape as in what the backdrop looks like for those in any doubt. The images in post #2 have all been formatted by me where necessary to fit the image width and height of the calendar page stencil. So if one has submitted a landscape format picture that is very wide, then it would need to be cropped slightly on the left and right edges, similarly if a picture was submitted that was more of a square shape, the image might need to be zoomed in a little to fill the left and right edges, thus cropping the top and bottom. But don’t worry about all that, just send in pictures that are taken horizontally rather than vertically :) |
Trikey, LimoRog and IanG your offerings have been added to post #2.
Last orders folks, you have until midnight tonight to email me your entries. Full details in post #1 of this thread :} |

Hi Paul yes I think the last one I submitted was better because I think I over cropped the first one. Many thanks for your comments. Jennifer ps I would like to know if I can change my user name.
