Chrome / mirror effect door pillars

Hi,
I've seen 75's with mirrored door pillars and they look great. I have contacted a member here who used mirrored polycarbonate from the US and trimmed it to size. He also said others have used chrome wrap. What I'd like to ask is for a recommendation. Can anyone tell me if they have done this recently and where they sourced the polycarbonate or wrap from on Ebay or Amazon?

I conscious that there are different grades of material and some are intended for indoor use and I don't want to mess this job up with some substandard material. Any recommendation on material would be appreciated.

BTW as it was winter I was intending to warm up the surface with a hair dryer to ensure good adhesion.

Thanks,

Jim

Get a set chromed, I had some done years ago, far better than any stick on stuff.

Any idea how much this might cost?

I paid about £120 for a set of four.

Check the condition of them before doing anything, they can look ok but be rotten with rust on the hidden side.

To get the best finish by wrapping, the covers should be removed from the car and worked on indoors. You'll never get the wrapped edges right doing it in-situ.
