PMF 75 Tourer?
Hello everyone i just had a look at my 75s vin plate and it says PMF (Raven Black) however i had a look at MG Rover.info to see how many were made in this colour and apparently there weren’t any i know mine wouldn’t be included as the vin when you enter it in that website comes up as a connie RHD for the german market in PAK Black paint C.O.B so could this mean i have the only Tourer in this colour? Any help appreciated thanks!

Interesting, my paint code is PMF on the saloon, would be interesting to know how many are left in that colour.

PMF is Raven Black according to the sales literature of the day ie the brochures and sales blurb, however the factory build records label it as Black Paint C.O.B which is ‘Clear Over Base’ it’s just the factory’s name for Raven Black.
If you PM your VIN, I can check it for you on the club’s copy of the build records. But I’m away until Tuesday, so can’t check it til then :} Hope that helps? |

Well actually it’s one paint code but two names for the same colour.

I had one many years ago, which sadly met its untimely end after a traction control issue

Friends daughter has a black 75 tourer diesel auto club that she bought last year. She went from a 54 reg Nissan Micra to the tourer as she needed a bigger car to carry a push chair. When it's cleaned and polished it's stunning! in fact her Dad loves driving it so much he bought himself a mk 2 diesel connie auto 2 weeks ago :D

Well i have a raven black zt according to mg rover info "This vehicle was the 74th ZT in Black Paint C.O.B. (code: PAK) to be made out of 132 Black Paint C.O.B. ZTs"
Its a mk1 so probably one of the last in PMF looks lovely when clean just doesn't stay that way long !! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |
