if you want secondhand, a scrap yard?

Could try a wanted advert in the wanted section, a member may be able to help you.

Also try mickeyboy a trader on the forum, he deals in second hand parts

Did you want one with a chrome cover?

Lots of traders on here that should be able to help, or there's ebay, breakers yards, etc.

Remember, there are two types of door mirror, early (skullcap) and late type. Both will fit but better to get the right one in the first place.

As long as you get the same type as you've got now, you can swap the plastic cover over so the colour or chrome will match. Do you need a normal or power-fold mirror ?

Depending on why you are replacing it, if it's not moving, have you checked it's not the contacts in the door switch ? They are well known for getting mucky inside but can be easily stripped apart and cleaned with a little contact cleaner :xmas-smiley-008:

I am replacing it because I clipped a wheelie bin with it in the dark yesterday morning. Tried Rimmer Bros but no luck.
The mirror is power fold enclosed in chrome plastic.
I know I am very annoyed as I recently spent nearly £1000 having a dent knocked out after reversing into a piece of farm machinery.

Do you need the whole "mirror" or just the chrome?
Can the powerfold parts be transferred into a non power fold to make a powerfold?
