rear upper arm suspension
how hard is it to change one of these
|
if the bolt in the sub frame in the middle of the car and the bolt by the brake plate come out, fairly simple. in fact more fiddly then hard. hardest part was lining up the bolt my the brake plate when putting back together. I did mine last year

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum. ;)

I did mine last year and it is fiddly but very doable. Here is pdf of my adventures - it may help. The upper arm starts at paragraph 10. |
excellent how too, and its not too bad a job, BUT .. if the inner pivot bolt is rusty and jams in the captive nut , and the nut turns it then usually becomes a whole rear subframe out jobbie..
Sounds bad but again isn't that hard ( expecially when you have no alternative) :D. Worst bit really then is the exhaust has to come out of the way.:duh: Bin the dunnit .. etc ;) C |
