Parts Dealer in Bulgaria.

Have you heard of this parts supplier?
Some local owners have mentioned that a former Turkish based MG / Land Rover dealer now operates from Bulgaria as a New Parts Supplier Said to specialise in 25/45/75 ZS/ZR/ZT models.
Their reference is https://mglrparts.co.uk/, unusual not to include “www” Do many folk use the “UK” prefix when based overseas - In this instance “bg” for Bulgaria.
Other refs:

[email protected].
Just curious.

Just curious.

Personally I wouldn't use them, however I have no experience of.them.in any shape or form.

The reason alarm.bells.rang for.me, was the .Co.uk address, with a foreign personal name promoting it (I was curious to see.if it was a new parts company, with an employee or.owner promoting on facebook).

London phone number, so far so good. Bulgarian address? Hmm no thanks.

It may be legitimate and I may be over cautious, but it is my money. I would come to your door in England if you scammed me, to get it back, I wouldn't, I don't think, go to Bulgaria.

If you want hard to find parts from overseas, speak to Alex (Devyl on here) he has a good supply of stuff, and is looking into having wooded armrests remanufactured.

It's good that there's more supply on the continent with all the faff since Brexit - the customs processes now are absolutely bonkers.

We supply a lot of the companies based overseas - just this week we packaged up 2 pallets of stock to help keep cars in and around Germany on the road. :)

More power to those abroad who help keep our cars going!

Believe me you provide just about the easiest service around for us overseas. When we pay VAT + handling charges this end, FedEx are much more reliable than Royal Mail/PostNord, who can even lose recommended parcels. Might be a bit more expensive charges wise but we receive an invoice AFTER the goods have been delivered which is a big plus when things are urgent.

You wouldn't believe some of the antics poor Stocktake (and I) have had to deal with when trying to get information from PostNord. eg. "no customs sticker attached" - there was but it involved lifting the parcel to see it etc.

We've had some contact with Gokhan who owns the operation offering the NOS parts. From what I have seen of the parts list many of the items are in the rare/ unobtainable categories, with some specific to LHD owners. So he may well be a good source for members in Europe, Americas and APAC.

They are based in Turkey but use Bulgaria as their port of entry to the EU. He is also looking at setting up a local presence in the UK as well, and there may be a discount on the cards for Subscribed members in the near future.

As DMGRS mentioned, good supply channels for parts is always going to be welcome, and if they are half as hard working and helpful as Scott and Matt then we are a lucky community to have them.
