Still Having Problems

Car starts no problem.
When driving it coughs now and again.
It seems as though it goes into limp mode going no faster when accelerator is pressed down.
Then off it goes driving as normal until it coughs again.
When above 2000 revs the car drives as normal.
Below that it coughs and looses power then it comes back and drives as normal.
Has anyone any idea what I have here?

Dirty fuel?
You didn’t happen to put petrol in by mistake?

Been doing this for over a week now. Filled to tank up twice.
Diesel only no petrol.

It really sounds as though you have a poor electrical contact somewhere that makes and breaks from car vibration.---:}

The ECU reduces power in case some sort of damage is happening in the system. These intermittent faults are always a curse to find.---;)---However, find it you will.---:D

I remember Brian mentioning an issue with the injector wiring harness becoming brittle and causing problems, may be worth removing the engine cover and taking a look.
How often was he wrong! :bowdown:

As above -see post 6 on this link by Marinabrian - worth a shot as the test is simple.:shrug:
