Rover garage

Thought I had found a rover specialist in a little garage in Maske today. Been told he had worked at rover so he was a specialist with them. Gave him a ring asked how much for a full service £120. I thought that's not bad. Then asked about changing the sliver resistor to the gold one. He didn't know how to do it. So I'm not taking the car there .

Dodged a bullet, there!

If you do find somewhere, please report back. Always good to know of places.

Nip up to Fencehouses and see turbo Dave, he will do the resistor for you.

On the advice of a long standing club member, sadly no longer on the forum, I took my car up to Dave for new brake pipes.

That guy knows what he's doing, he knows 75's, and he won't have your eyes out.

The only problem is knowing what to do with yourself while Dave is on with the car.
Myself, I got the local bus to Chester-le-St for a couple of hours.

Returned after a couple of hours, car waiting for me, job done.

No qualms about using him again, but he is a busy guy, booking ahead essential .

Totally Agree, one of the best mechanics around, and he has been doing my MGF and ZTs for at least 15 years, and would not use anybody else, and he has also been doing my Jags as well. He will also advise you on things that need during the next year, and wont rip you off

And if you get stuck as to where he is, I'll happily take you up. He is tucked away a bit if you don't know the area 😎
