How often should the serpentine belt be changed?

If it is getting cracks on the inside or when cambelt is changed Bob

Ok. No cam belt, as the Bear has a timing chain.

And please no more mentions of a cam belt, please.

Just assumed you meant your 1.8 have a look at the belt and if its getting cracked or very shiny I would change it

It’s under no real strain as it only drives water pump, alternator and air con compressor. You’d be stranded if it broke though so for the few minutes it takes to change it it’s worth doing. Size of belt is 6PK2373
