One Of The Last ZT-T's.
I have just rescued one of the last to be built (i believe) ZT-T's. Reg is BX56 BOV (a 190+ manual). I know it was first reg'd at Longbridge by the administrators on 24/12/2006, but was sold by them in a job lot sale early 2007 to Evans Halshaw, they didn't sell it until March 2009 when it first went on the road proper. VIN build number is 354896, i believe this is only about 300-400 in the numbering system before the end, as this system also included lots of Rover 75's and some ZT's i think my new acquisition must be one of the last ZT-T's but can anyone tell me anymore, i've tried to get into the MG BUILD INFO system but can't even get the page up!. Thanks in advance for any help/info.

That car was completed at 09:07:29 on 5th April 2005 and was the 14th of 48 ZT/ZTT to come off the line that day.
It is also the 58th from last ZT/ZTT to be assembled. The last 7 being hand finished on 30th June 2005 :cool: In terms of ZTT specifically, yours was the 37th from last ZTT to be completed. Hope that helps :sunny: |
Let's see some pictures!:}

Many Thanks To All Who Replied, Especially Reebs. I have a habit of rescuing these cars after owning a ZTT For some years in the past. Just saved a very low mileage (27k) 54 plate Rover 75 last year and now this ZTT which after a thorough clean up is in excellent condition, not a sign of rust/corrosion on the all original paintwork and the underside is also great, especially the floor and support area adjacent to rear sills. Will post some photos this next week or two, will then likely have to try and find it a new home.

One of my ZT-Ts is on an 08 plate! VX08OBW but originally assembled in '05. It's a prototype 190SE and actually registered by SAIC!

Must have hung around longer than mine, although obviously would have come off the production line at a similar time. I've 4 other classics (had them all 30+ years), so the ZTT is having to go as a classified add on that well known auction site. It should now be good for a long, long time, maybe for ever if it's bought by a collector. Will try and upload a couple of photos as others have asked for them! Thanks.
