Which pipes are you talking about? Coolant hoses or those smaller ones that carry fuel?

Why not jubilee clips ?
Ive change mine to genuine stainless Jubilee clips as ive changed any hoses because the original clips are hard to find... No problems yet .. |
I'd be interested to hear views generally on coolant hose clips as last week I experienced a jubilee clip springing open. Couldn't immediately work out how I'd suddenly lost over a pint of coolant after several months of not losing a drop. Opened bonnet with engine running to find a small fountain in full flood. Are there any superior alternatives to the jubilee?

Not used this company but look like a good range of clips

Those do look very good, and company based not far from me as well. Will definitely try a couple.

This is especially relevant given that the plastic pipe stub is not usually lined with a metal sleeve inside allowing the plastic to collapse over time with heat cycles and chemical attack. The spring clips give a fixed and even clamping force 360deg and is kinder to the plastic fitting in the long term. |

Just looked at my neighbour's Honda Civic, it uses the squeeze type clips just like the 75. New source??
