Glad you will be making the journey Bob. I was hoping to go but with everything going on with my wife, I could not make it. If you see Ched (Dave) there, ask him to give me a call please. He has my number.

See you on Saturday Bob. I've been working in Bridgwater this week but back home tonight and then an early start tomorrow for the Bluebird meet.

Have a successful journey Bob, and that applies to all attending to pay respect to Bluebird.

Hi Rev, luckily, I am fine. I am aware that for several, circumstances have stopped them making the trip to support this event otherwise the numbers would be even more.

We have arrived at the hotel, sat nav couldn’t find the place. Not the best of journeys. The M5 was stop start. The M42 was like a car park. The M69 was a breeze till about 2 miles from the end. Sat nav lost the plot. Anyway we have arrived in one piece. We got spotted on the M5 by a Enterprise van. Ben Smith, he bought LimoRog’s V8 Tourer. So we got a flash, toot and a wave.

Just dined at Burger King’s. Not been in one for years. Still it’s filled a hole. No pubs for miles so it will have to be a mug of tea then. Going to book the hotel for tomorrow evening. Then I can drive back in daylight.

Banana covered 300 miles and she never missed a beat. That is the furthest I have driven her for nearly a year. Love her to bits.
