I had a set of these, and they weren't very good quality. If, like me, you're a part-time mechanic, keeps your eyes peeled for a set from either Aldi or Lidl - they are substantially better.

I just bought 2 individuals from Halfords, a 13mm and a 10mm. They're the only ones I seem to use.

Aldi have a 5 piece set in this weeks leaflet - £9.99 here.
There's already a load of DIY/car related gear in Aldi today, never mind what's coming next week. Definitely worthy of a mooch around ;)

I have a set made by "Gearwrench" They are similar in construction to conventional combination wrenches rather than the fabricated type shown. Mine also have hinged heads which improve access. They are probably the handiest tools I own, but I still use my normal combination wrenches as well.
Here's an Amazon link. Canadian pricing but you get the idea.

Although Im not a big fan of Halfords their tools are good quality. I bought their flexible head ratchet spanner set, sizes 10mm -19mm IIRC. well made and good quality. They were on one of their half price tool offers that they have regularly so £25 instead of £50.

I've had a 'Bergen' set for some years now and found them to be of good quality, they are a flexible head at both ends and can get into really awkward places.
I have managed to strip the 'often used' 10mm gears, and haven't come across a replacement yet, they tend to come in sets.
Wish I'd used a ring spanner to slacken it first.
Ken.
