Rover 75 1.8 Connoisseur SE - Spares/Repairs

Hi guys.

I need to shift on this car very soon as i have another car arriving and no longer have the interest to sort this one out as i need to focus on the restoration for my Monogram ZS. My 45 will also need to go

Rover 75 1.8 Connoisseur SE in midnight blue with sandstone leather interior
Mileage is just under 30k! which is genuine with one previous owner.

Good points:
1: 29K on the clock which is genuine
2: 1 previous owner
3: Connie SE Spec
4: Recent engine work
5: Body is straight and true and comes up great
6: Matching good tyres with crown alloys

Bad points:
1: Slight missfire
2: Potential top mounts needed
3: Rear door has some paint flaking from the door handel area
4: Interior could do with a wipe over.

I will upload some pictures tomorrow morning.

Just to reiterate its for SPARES/REPAIRS. I could break the car for more than im asking but this one deserves to be kept on the road but if it comes to it due to time i will have to do it. We have Until the 5th of March to keep it safe.

Car will need to be towed away
£450
Located in Stonehouse Lanarkshire ML9.

Whats people's opinion on this. No arguments please

It looks a lovely car, and for someone after a 1.8, it's a decent one. I think the lack of MOT will be what's putting people off, in this case. Hope it finds a good home.

fantastic looking car, my fav colour, i would have to wait intill it is scraped to get anything of it,

Yella Fella 5th March 2015 09:32

Stephen, there is nothing wrong with it. The right person wil come along and sort the minor points.

I looked at this thread a couple of times and nearly replied but its the wrong time for me to have another car.

There is a buyer out there, just hang on in there. :}

This is the last chance on this car. I have the add up for breaking. so until someone buys something from it, it can still be saved.

Hi.
I wonder if the reason there's been no takers is there are cars for sale with mot for even less? Mind last year I eventually cancelled my for sale ad on COA as there was little interest, my car is very clean, a connie se and intlligence pack and lots of history but nothing!

Of course both you and I know you will get more breaking the car than selling it complete!

Dragrad 14th March 2015 02:25

Thread closed as it is now breaking... See here....

This will avoid ambuguity. If anyone wants the car as a whole, please respond via PM or to the live thread ;)
