Green Algae

I have some green algae on the rubber and in the awkward gaps between chrome strips and bodywork. Any tips to remove, I don't want to damage the finish of the paint. Any tips much appreciated. :}

Get a cheap electric toothbrush - makes the job much easier and it will get into places a sponge won't ;)

The caravan cleaner that Aldi has in at the moment works a treat on the green stuff. I dilute it and put in a trigger spay bottle.
If you spray it on the green, leave it for a couple of minutes and then agitate it with the wife's toothbrush, it just washes the green away ;)

If you're using a power washer you will never get any algae deposits.

If you do use a power washer be careful it can take the paint of your waist/sill trims if they are colour coded
