"Tries" ? Hopefully it will succeed! :D |
I almost wasted my money on one of these - just to release the Crank Pulley Bolt :duh: - Until I listened to sound advice (from Brian:cool: ) A breaker secured on the front subframe and use the starter motor to release the bolt  if there is a more efficient way to do the job i've yet to see it :D
 it's a Handy Tool tho Paul. |

Wasted!!!? What? I have owned one (of another brand) for a half year and I am absolutely clueless as to why I didn't buy one earlier. Those things are life savers. |
Blurb says :
950 Nm or up to 1625Nm of "breakaway" torque ??? whatever the difference is ? ;) its only money !:o |

for ME it would have been money "Wasted" - "just to release the Crank Pulley Bolt" - when I already had the means to do so with less effort required :} Handy tho if you deal with a lot of seized/rusty nuts/bolts or fixings etc.. Paul. |
The 1800 is one thing, but the diesel is quite another when it comes to slackening the bolt securing the pulley ;)
One word of warning when using a rattle gun for this particular job, wear gloves, and pad the handle with cloth. So how much was your Black and Decker impact gun? Brian :D |
Don't think B&D do one :D
This'uns a D&W ;) Got it at mates rates of 150 quids . with bat and Charger. C.. |
The missus got me a Clarkes rattle gun for my birthday two years ago and it was one of those things (like an angle grinder) where you wonder why you have struggled for years.
Lent it to my neighbour a couple of times then he bought one too :¬) |
