President Sarkosy guilty of corruption
Just seeing reports he has been jailed for three years - with two years suspended.
He’s been found guilty of corruption and influence peddling. |
Ouch. He must have upset the wrong people. (Possibly forgot them when he was influence peddling, whatever that is:getmecoat:)

An appeal could be in the offing, be surprised if he doesn't. To me Macron might have more serious questions to answer at the end of the day. His early conduct over the AZ vaccine I suspect might have put an untold number of lives at risk in europe. It smacked of protectionism for France's own pharma interests.

There's a certain air of Maximilien de Robespierre about them both. Blow it, let them eat cake. Oh, no, just a minute....

Would hate to be labelled an -ist anything but isn't there something about the ability to reach higher levels about them?

I do despair, on one level people with all the advantages they have being so dishonest- and on the other level so stupid! But even so they still retain so many of the goodies of life. Chris S.

It's beyond me.
The reporting restrictions have stopped many things coming out of France, the D notice on the BBC stopped anyone seeing the Yellow vest protests as they were happening. If you see footage of Macon's thug Police shooting at protesters faces with supposedly non lethal rounds you'll see the problem. A video of a Macron thug pushing over a disabled person using a walking stick proves how violence is being used, it's not being reported and hasn't been because of reasons we're not privy to.
