Small Star Crack

Looks like a stone has hit my front indicator lens in the bumper and now it has a small star shaped crack in it.
Is this a MOT fail ?

As long as it doesn't affect the colour being uniformly displayed by the indicator it shouldn't be a problem. Someone picky might make it an advisory if they consider it to compromise "security" of the unit.

Fit a replacement and forget about worrying if it will pass an MOT.

Why spend pennies if you don't have to?

I have had a cracked fog light which has passed at least 5 MOTs, but an indicator is probably regarded as more important - why not simply ask your friendly MOT tester well before the MOT is due. Rules do change, so I am sure they will advise. Windscreens with tiny abrasions in Zone A are now disregarded, probably because there are so many loose stones/chippings on the roads these days.

The crack can get bigger, let moisture and dirt in, ruin the reflector, cause bulb warning issues. Also at dusk some evening, you are turning with your headlights on, a car coming out of the junction does not see the indicator clearly and stupidly drives out in your path. The radiator gets punctured and drains, blowing the head gasket of your car that was going to be written off anyway as the bumper was damaged. You now spend over 10 pounds worth of calls to various insurance company departments and latterly scrap yards for parts, not forgetting the 10 plus hours of your time to sort it all out. It did not fail the mot though ;)

It is about 30 mins to change an hour if the fittings are rusted in, and 10 or 15 quid for replacement. Plus the satisfaction that you have done something positive to your car. (That's how I see it anyway).
