TOAF connection success
Yay! Finally got TOAF to work with a cable I purchased online. Bridging pins 7 and 8 gave me access to all modules.
I've also successfully added a new key to replace a non-working remote that originally came with the car. Awesome stuff! |
Godsend for us up here too. You’ve done well, took me about 2 years after getting Toaf to get around to trying the remote board procedure, but had no need for it personally. Friend Genpk in Perth has I believe even got one step further with additional equipment and programmed a transponder.
Just make sure to back-up your modules before changing anything, long way to go for help - having said that I’ve been using Toaf since it came out and never had to restore modules (touch wood), but there are still parts of the programme I dare not touch, and I’m sure areas like setting the idle are there but for me shrouded in darkness. Still a darn sight better than having nothing. Regards |
That would make me the third point in the overseas triangle!
I have also had some success using TOAF although I have been taking small careful steps using it. I just couldn't justify spending several hundred dollars to add my ZT to my Blackbox Nano so TOAF was the only other choice. |
