IS this a bad sign

Only just got my ZT-T so I'm still nosing around it and trying to take in the quirks that every car has. The metal spring clip that keeps the wing mounted indicator has corroded to failure so the unit doesn't stay put (see my post in the wanted section). However as I removed it to see why it wouldn't stay in place I found a huge amount of leaves and other organic material inside. Is this cause for concern and how did it get in there in the first place?

Hi and welcome. Debris behind the wing, n/side is it? Probably what's called the shannon tube, a cold air feed from under the wing to the airbox, always in bits.I would suggest also cleaning the plenum chamber https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...d.php?t=125864
There is a "How To" section which answers probably all your questions:cool:
Have fun;)

It is indeed the n/s. Does this tube need replacing or can it be cleaned out?
Also, as I've owned the vehicle for the grand total of 29 hours are there any jobs I should have done as preventative medicine?

Thanks all for super prompt replies btw

It's probably disintegrated, can be replaced with ducting from ebay, or left for now:cool:

I'm guessing that walkthrough to rodding still applies?
I couldn't believe how much tree gubbins were packed in there.
