Which Xtrons? Sorry!

Ok, have a couple of bottles of wine and now have a fine wee dram beside me while looking for an Android double DIN headunit. My ZT did originally come with the high line setup but it died before I got it so currently has a single DIN kenwood HU. The wiring appears to be all there in the boot still, fairly mucky looming tbh but do I really need it now?
I was thinking of getting one of the 3 linked below but what am I losing out with on the cheapest one here

https://xtrons.co.uk/bmw-rover-mg-va...wince-pf7146bs

And then between these two at the same price, what’s the Best Buy?

https://xtrons.co.uk/bmw-rover-mg-va...b-rom-pbx7946b

I am at the moment personally preferring the last one but is that because I am slightly inebriated?
As I currently have a single DIN HU do I need any xablenadaptors?
I would be adding a mic and DAB as extras but think that then covers everything I want, am I missing anything obvious here?
Cheers much for any help or pointers :D

Very pleased with it. No performance issues and does everything i need it to do.

Hi, I've been contemplating one of these but don't like the sound of having separate GPS and radio a riels cluttering the dash. What do you do with them? I know it sounds silly but hey. Cheers, Graham.

Everything shows on the main display. If you have GPS on then the radio or music source just plays underneath. Not sure if i misinterpreted your question but just think of them as an android tablet in your dash that you can download apps onto just like a smart phone.

This a very similar unit being used

Usually they stick to the windscreen with the cabling ran up the A pillar and the aerial itself stuck on the screen right beside it so not overly noticeable.

I do notice I have a stuck on aerial of some description right at the top of my windscreen, not 100% what it was/is for right now though!?!

You can mount the GPS antenna behind the radio on the steel tube that runs from left to right (don't know the technical term ). The GPS antenna has most likely a magnetic base so it will stick (although I zip tied it just to be sure)

The DAB+ antenna can be mounted on the rear side window behind the C-pillar (I used the one on the drivers side). The cable is in most cases long enough. So no silly antennas in your view when you are behind the steering wheel :D

I found gps reception a bit weak unless it is mounted with a clear view upwards so mine is right at the front of the dash in front of the instrument binnacle so not visible at all when driving and my wireless aerial is mounted at the very top of the screen and once again barely visible.

I have this GPS antenna placed in the Rover and the ZT-T. Picks up the sats in a matter of seconds: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32962871982.html

Maybe I have been lucky

I tried the original supplied and bought an aftermarket unit which looks identical to that but with the same results. Either way it's not a big deal to move it if needed so not really an issue tbh.

I put the GPS aerial at the top of the screen and takes ages sometimes to find a satellite.
Didn't think of putting it at the bottom but might now if it gets a better view straight up
