In Car Tablet Kits
Hi everyone
I have put a tablet kit together over the past few months for an alternative to double din stereos of any brand. Not trying to step on any ones toes etc, just though it maybe of interest to some people. http://www.computek2000.com/media/wy...t_advert_1.jpg More info can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/glqjlug Any questions please shout out :) Thanks everyone. I think it's a brilliant idea. Again no dog at the double din but I imagine the kit is a bit cheaper and easier to use

Haven't I already wished you luck on this thread earlier on today?

How much is the kit to put your radio in place of the ash tray?
Do the songs play from the tablet through the aux into your radio and into speakers. I already have dab radio so I guess to listen to radio I just play that as normal ignoring the tablet? |

You can customise it like you would any other tablet in your home, just the way you want it. Yes it has wifi connectivity, so can connect to your mobile phones hotspot. It has Sat Nav aswell, and the installation is very simple, plug and play in fact with a dedicated loom and mini amp. Full instructions provided. :) |
Full marks for pioneering such a thing but.....it's a tablet fixed to the dash, like where the radio should be. I use a tablet at home sitting in the house, wouldn't using a 'computer' whilst driving be a distraction? I know I'm playing devils advocate but for me personally I play the radio or a cd whilst driving, not surf the web
