Staining Vinyl

Good afternoon all,I would like to upgrade my steering wheel to a walnut and leather one.I have ash grey velour interior. black handbrake gaitor, black gear lever gaitor so am looking at a black leather and walnut wheel i think from a facelift model. Now comes the problem, the only black airbag to suit the wheel seems to have a big round badge in the middle which to my eyes is ****** ugly (mine has a small shield badge) so i was wondering if anyone has success in staining the airbag cover(i need to go from smokestone to ash grey)also will the pre facelift airbag(2003) fit the facelift wheel.

Regards to all

Chas

I did my new wheel and the hard plastic backing with a Stubie Smokestone Grey dye kit. Excellent!

The fitting of the Steering Wheels are all the same... MkI & MkII. Same goes for the ZT's.
