'New' 75 V8

20 miles on the clock, never had an MOT.
Sticker price might be nearly the same as it was back in 2004?

That one's been posted and discussed on here and facebook many times. Seller is in a dream world. Also has some other cars again with very low mileage and wants ridiculous amounts for them.

Could have sold them for decent money years ago, but now with all the recommissioning work it would take to get a car that's been stood for 15 years on the road would not make it worth anywhere near that.

Can't help but think the value of the car lies in the delivery mileage. Sadly it will probably never turn a wheel

Don’t know about the car, but it’s not a viewer friendly advert/website.

Advertised with "full main dealer history" - I don't think!

I'm always slightly amused by statements like "full service history". If you think about it, it's a pretty meaningless statement.

After all, If I had a car that's, say, 15 yrs old and had only been serviced once in it's life, then as long as I have a record of that service I can say it has "full service history". Nowhere does that statement say that the service history is in accord with manufacturers recommendations, simply that a record has been made of all service work carried out (which may be more, or less than manufacturers requirements).

A bit pedantic, I know, but if the service records of the V8 shows that it has stood unserviced on a main dealers forecourt, then (presuming that is what happened) it does indeed have "full main dealer history" :getmecoat:.

I have always got mixed feelings about cars like this, amazing that they are still around in that condition but what can you do with them? Once you do more than a few hundred miles the value would plummet, keep it as a museum piece? Seems like a waste.

I know it's down to my ignorance of these things but I don't care. So much of the first page is obscured by the cookies banner it just turned me off. There are three pages worth of companies and orgs that grab any further progress so I just closed it. That's not the way to sell cars, but I think they are paid by the clicker numbers.
