CD Changer to digital music changer car radio MP3 player

Hello:

My CD changer has died and I have decided to look for a more up-to-date substitute. I have looked at digital adapters (digital music changer car radio MP3 player). Can you let me know if anyone has been able to install any and model recommendations?

Thank you very much.
Best regards.
Joel Antonio.

In 2018 i replace it (still fonctionnal) with a yatour mt-06 and its BT YT-BTM (i should recept it in a few days, BT module to appair with my phone for audio book and internet radios).

It works well even if i find it limited in his functions (sorry for my approximative english), some deconnexion sometimes but maybe just my model.

I thing today there is better tools.

I've never heard the word 'approximative' before, and thought you'd invented a brand new English word. But I put it in a search and voila! there it is :D
We would normally stick with 'approximate', but yours is ok.
Now I'm going to see if the American word 'normalcy', which they use in place of 'normality' is listed :D

EDIT - found this online.
Normalcy was popularized in the early 20th century thanks to President Warren G. Harding’s “return to normalcy”ť campaign slogan (though the word did exist before then), and language authorities have been unable to stamp it out.

Now we just need to stop Charlie Nicholas saying 'he has went' and we'll be straight again.
(oops! sorry for hijacking this thread :getmecoat:

I have a Sony with BT and a USB socket. All my CDs are on a tiny thumbstick. I had to get a single din adaptor plate and a set of leads for the steering wheel controls.;)

I have one of these radio's fitted in my connie but the steering wheel controls don't work. Do you have a part number for the adapter lead please.

I got this one but you have to use it with their adapter leads too. There are also some radios which had a different set up I believe (infra red or something???).

CTSRV002.2 Steering Wheel Stalk Control Interface Adaptor For ROVER 25, 45, 75

but it can be CTSRV006 depending on your wiring. Check with the supplier via Ebay.

I got mine from ebay via Dynamic sounds.

Thank you for the link . I noticed on the Ebay pictures that the adapter has a 3.5mm jack plug connection, and when I fitted my radio to the connie a jack plug is already there. Are you able to confirm if this is part of the original steering wheel control wiring as I'm wondering if an adapter is already fitted ? as I don't fancy pulling the symphony out of the tourer to check !:o

Many of the fitted MGR radios have different connectors so you will need to get it out to see which ones you have.
