connections on shark fin aerial
 

Hi all i removed the shark fin aerial on my tourer to reseal it due to water ingress and noticed there are two cables a blue and a purple only the blue one was connected is this right if so what is the other cable for both cables are coming off the aerial but i only see one (blue) going to the aerial any advice appreciated
