MG ZT CDTi 135+ remapped to 165bhp

Gentlemen,
I'm sure a few of you will know I'm selling the diesel pretty soon after having bought it, as I want to return to the MG fold with a Petrol engine once again (my previous car was a 260SE!)

So the car is a 2003 03 diesel with 66k on the clock. It's in trophy blue.
FSH, service due in 2k miles.
4 Michelin Pilot sports tyres - around 4mm tread left.
6 MOT
1 months tax
Tuned by Chip tuning uk to 165bhp (costing £495)
Very good condition - interior is immaculate.

Please send PM if interested

Cheers
Steve

Steve,

Theres a nice monogram typhoon coloured ZT-T 190+ (with satnav) with 62k miles, 2004/53 for sale if this would be a good swap? Its up for £6,799.

Or are you set on a 260 again?:D

SteveTD 15th December 2006 12:36

Not too sure what I'll replace her with - 190 is a possibility.
Where is the typhoon ZT-T advertised?

Its in London - at CarGiant, a car supermarket. Seems to have keen pricing, so I guess there`d be no/little room for haggling. Also you`d have to check the condition carefuly...

If you can choose between a 190/260, I`d go for the 260. Loads more fun, and from what i gather the fuel economy isnt necessarily that much worse. I`m hoping to swap my 190 for a 260 at some stage:)

I know the 260 is special, but then the 190 is the all-round well sorted car I guess. I would also be LPG'ing the ZT, so a 260 doesn't return that great an MPG even on gas - around 30mpg.

Now if yours was an estate I could swap you my ZTT as I can't justify keeping the ZTT 190 and the 260

SteveTD 18th December 2006 11:27

Tease! How many miles on the ZT-T Keith? How you getting on with the 260?! :drool4:

I need to get 6 months TAX for the CDTi and probably a service - expenditure I could do without. But it will go back on e-bay in the new year for it's rightful price, so those after a real bargain need to be quick!

Cheers

60 odd K or thereabouts
My 190 is a good one, I spent a fair while looking for one with all the toys on it whereas with the V8 I simply bought the cheapest I could find :)

I will probably put it up for sale in the New year once I get my private plate moved to the V8 then I might buy a small hatchback for swmbo to use on the school runs plus we will still need a dog transporter for the spotty dog as I just don't like getting the 190 dirty inside, so she is banned on wet days!

What I really should have done is buy a 75 CDT Cons SE estate in the first place!

The paint flip on the photo's I've seen of your car seem quite spectacular and dramatic. In my opinion the degree of flip does vary from car to car - whether this is actually true or not?....... For example - look at the typhoon 190 estate on Car Giant's website - I know it depends on light conditions etc, but still!

I have had many bad experiences with CarGiant over the years, and have also found that the Rover/MG stocks they have these days are usually in a pretty sorry state.
