Pcb board

hi gents ive just fitted my reconditioned FBH to my new car mk2 and found right at the last minute that the main plug is different to my mk1 ,now im sure that the unit itself is the same so what im after is a mk2 PCB board(the one with the round plug 3 wires) if anybody has one for sale if not then a complete unit thanks gordon....

That's strange, I have retrofitted quite a few FBH's over the years and never noticed a difference on the plugs, do you have a picture?

There is no difference in the shape between the early FBH PCB and later Gordon.

I have, well Big Russ and I have just recently retrofitted a very early type FBH to my 2004 facelift model. Everything was the same, it just plugged in and worked.

Are you sure you have removed the cover that is on the main plug? Squeeze the two bits together and pull as if you are removing the plug and it comes off.

Nope, no difference at all.

On the end of your wiring loom you should have these plugs
75/ZT /MkI/MkII it is a factory standard.

The 6 pin plug should look like this from above

They plug into these sockets

75/ZT /MkI/MkII, they All start ALL PCB's from a 75/ZT and Land Rover Freelander ,when the engine is started and the ambient temp is 5°C

If the PCB originated from a BMW, Range Rover L322, etc, although identical, it will NOT start. Even if you do say Messiah.

I retro fitted a FBH from a Mk1 to a MK2 with no issues. I cut the plugs from FBH and the dosing pumps to remove them. I had the same thought that the OP had when I compared the dosing pump plug to the FBH plug under the bonnet :duh:
