We could yet get another unelected leader - Lord Mandelson or Mr Bean perhaps.

I reckon there will be another election regardless of what happens in a year.

If you discount your media-nurtured hatred of Gordon Brown, he has done a good job under very difficult circumstances.
The new Government, a coalition of Tory-hating Liberal Democrat sellouts, and a collection of unknown blue-rinsers, will drop you right in it.
Another election in less than two years, Labour with a new leader, Lib-Dem supporters returning to Labour, and the Tories are out the back door again.
