Amazing.
I'm sure a 3D printer would be of good use for making Knobs and other parts no longer available for my hobby of vintage radio and TV.

They're very handy for odd little things like that. we've got a trolley we use at the beach, and the bushes that the handle fits to had broken up, so the handle was loose and falling off. 10 mins in tinkercad, and 1 hour on the printer and new bushes printed and fitted perfectly...
It's a great hobby to get in to, I'm using it for my model railway at the moment. I don't want to be paying £10-£15 per truck, so found some files online and can print them out for about 70 pence worth of resin, just need to paint them and then buy some wheels.
*edit* this is one of the knobs on thingiverse... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4220483
