I seem to have slowed my entry speed down. 221,470 miles so still a little way to go before re entry..

Well, unless I'm mistaken, you are 4153 miles from getting to the moon, but 229776 miles from re entry 'cos that only happens when you get back. :}

How far to the moon is 163000 miles? That's what my car's on right now.

235,000 miles to the moon so you got 72,000 to go

i've got 2 cars now one on 170,0000 and the other 180,000. and hoping to get them both to the Moon :)

On the other hand, when the Moon is at perigee ('peri' means 'near'), the Moon is at its closest approach to the Earth. The distance between them is only 363 104 km (225 623 miles).;)

Which is the distance the "Moon Club" use. (I Hope) as I am very near to that.

Yes, my Tourer made it to 300 000 yesterday. Don't buy one, they said. They won't last as you won't be able to get parts and they will drop to pieces. Friends, what happened to your cars? I've still got mine :D

since Photo Bucket I have not up loaded any thing since.:shrug:

I use tapatalk via my phone it's much easier since photobucket went, unsure what the best photo site is nowadays, maybe imgur?

Well nearly, :eek::eek: Do we get a sticker if we can see it from earth? As for the Rover CDTi unfortunately I'm in the slow lane :o

250000 miles is an amazing achievement.
I'm curious to know how are members cars holding up to these high mileages.Are your engines still strong and are there any petrol ones that have achieved this. Have the cam chains on the diesels started to get rattlely.. What about auto boxes, how have faired.
So many questions but it would be interesting to hear from the owners that have done these remarkable miles.
Mines clocked just over 155k now and I sometimes worry about how much longer it will soldier on for.

Qualification for the moon club is 225,623 miles, that's the closest the moon gets to the earth. Members are primarily diesels but Flying Banana is a member with his famous Sunspot Yellow petrol 1.8T.

We hit 231,231 today.

YHT 236080 Rover 75 Diesel Saloon

Added another 35 yards last week when moved it out of the barn for a wedding and then back in. Had to change the in tank pump and fit a new battery but started a treat and ran smooth.
Really must invest time in doing the cills and slapping some waxoil where the sun doesnt shine!

Banana is the leading petrol now, got past Christopher.
