No wonder Covid spreads
channel hoping I court Country File and they had been filing at Moseley Farmers Market. Covid signs with 2m markings. People with no masks.
Today I drove past a small market which was very busy. I thought it may have been covid vaccination, something for school or a food bank. could not believe it was a busy food market. No wonder Covid spreads macafee2 |
The road past our house links two small housing estates to the main roads through our village. We often get dog walkers and school children etc walking past and others walking to the convenience stores or hairdressers etc in the village centre.
By and large adults keep socially distanced, except for couples, which is fine. Since the secondary closed though there's been quite a few groups of three or four teenager walking out in a huddle. No behaviour change whatsoever. |
Up until this week I had not noticed by the amount of traffic passing my house we were supposed to be in lockdown, at sometimes of the day it was so busy I was worrying the local bypass was shut and they were coming this way instead.
This week it is noticeably less busy, at one point last night there was no vehicle activity for over an hour. |
I think the majority of people obey the rules or at least make an attempt to do so although many seem to think retail outlets offer temporary immunity
What frustrates me most are the fools who you see in shops wearing masks over their mouths with their noses hanging out:mad: obviously contestants for the Darwin awards. |
A lot of folk could be exempt from mask wearing, I know when we go shopping Deb gets glared at by some for not wearing a mask.
I agree there are idiots, but there will always be idiots in all walks of life, you can’t stop them all unfortunately. Personally, I would like to see the police doing vosa style roadblocks and questioning folk as to where they are going? The roads down here are busier than ever. |
And today I found out a neighbour has died apparently as a result of Covid infection.
I used to chat to him each day when he wandered up the road to buy his paper from the corner shop with his chin hammock on, but I've not seen him for the past week. Shame as he was only 62, wearing a mask incorrectly is inherently much more dangerous to the wearer that you might imagine :) Brian |

Filmed last year and don't forget that mask wearing was in it's early days, implemented in July 2020 and looking at the fruit etc being sold this was probably filmed in August and mask wearing was and still is I believe only a legal requirement indoors. Cheers |
Your lucky, the morons around here wear them as CHIN MASKS!
