Are clips available?

Had a drip inside the rear of the tourer from the nuts holding the chrome strip. When trying to remove the nuts, not surprised that the little bolt just spinning as it has broken away from the clip in the strip. Are they available anywhere, or has anyone devised a way to replace the strip without them? Thanks for any advice.

Is it Item 2 here:
Rimmer: https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001807

If so, also here? https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_f...1440+&_sacat=0

Thanks for that, these clips are not the ones at the rear of the wing that have a little bolt in them, can I just try and glue the bolts back?

Do you see the required part on the Rimmer drawings?

No, it is a plastic insert with a small screw/bolt that must have been bonded in, the nut and washer are shown but not the fixing that slides into the chrome strip.

Its attached to the strip normally but if you put a little epoxy resin on them its enough to hold them there in the chrome strip

Wish I could upload pics (why do so many of us find this difficult? Is there a how to.)

The problem I have is the little metal bolt has separated from the plastic clip that fits in the chrome strip. The plastic is held in the strip by the chrome having a lip, the problem is getting the metal bolt to stay in the clip, as if it doesn’t then the strip will not pull in close to the wing. Need to be done up tight to stop water ingress, these two clips seem not to be available, they are both different. They are not shown on the Rimmers pic. Have other members who have refitted the strip and dealt with leaks found a way to do this without replacement clips.

Do you have an account with a hosting site like TinyPic or Imgur, etc? https://www.google.co.uk/search?safe...4dUDCAg&uact=5
Avoid Photobucket.
That's the first step.
Or read the info available (somewhere around here) on how to use the forum's server for image posting. I prefer a specialised image host myself.
Once to have your images uploaded to a host, posting them anywhere you want is usually needs just a couple of clicks.

Thanks for that, unfortunately have no idea what to do, just computer phobic. On most sites just click add photo and upload from my library, why can we just not have that available on here?

Quite practical with mechanics and can follow instructions, bit unsure how to get these chrome strips back on and stop water ingress. Bolts/screws have come free of the clips, any advice to how others have overcome this problem really welcome.
