160bhp remap

Just wondering if anyone in the club still offers the above service. Getting sock of the turbo lag at the moment and don't trust the plug and play boxes.

Cheers

MarinaBrian is in your neck of the woods, BigRuss offers a 3 day postal service (I think).
Just noticed you have a 1.8T, the 160 map is for the Diesel. Not sure what's available for yours via our club traders. Kmaps can get 200BHP from it I have heard.

Do you have the standard intercooler, or aftermarket?

If your car is a Rover 1.8T it's going to be 150ps rather than the ZT 1.8T which is 160ps.

Rover 1.8T's can have the same tune as the ZT unless it's an auto ;)

Sorry All.

Just updated my Bio and resubscribed as i realised it had expired.

The 1.8t went to a friend so i no longer have it, i have a 2.0 CDTI Tourer now.

Standard intercooler.

Hi Shaun.
Therefore you car does qualify for the 160 upgrade, and as above you have a choice, you can try and contact Brian, whom is in your neck of the woods, or drop ( bigRuss ) a PM and get your ECU posted out to him or you could even travel to him.

Always a good idea before you have the upgrade is to have a nice clean manifold, EGR, MAP sensor, nice clean air filter, PCV filter etc it's not a deal breaker if you dont as you can do those jobs after.

Your drive back home or drive after the tickle with the magic wands, will make the car more enjoyable to drive, so go for it. ;)
