Took the dog for his morning walk, dropped him off at the doggie spa, then decided it was such a nice day, that a drive in the stunning north Yorkshire countryside was on the cards.

So guess what I did, drove for the sheer pleasure of it, had a nice meal in good company, then drove home again.

After seeing the result of a relaxing day for my smallest furriest little son, I've booked myself and my good lady wife in for a day at Ramside Hall.

Oooh, I cannot wait, this has to beat lying on your back under a car :drool4:

Fixed the leaking sunroof drain on the passenger side, using the aquarium pipe connector as per the How-To's. For the last few days, I've had our portable dehumidifier in the front and the carpet is definately much drier than it was and I hope that I wont have to go removing the carpets, as the damp was only on 1 side. :)

Sounds good Bri, I have just finished laying on my back emptying two tins of Dinitrol over and inside the rear subframe and associated components.

(But mostly over me!!)

The last car I had seen which had this type of water ingress, required both sides to be changed :(

When the carpets are lifted, you can see why they retain water, the foam is very thick indeed ;)

Oh dear...

A blocked PCV will do that to a set of O rings in no time!

Completed a two day trip to the tank museum and back with various stops along the way 863 miles on a tank and a quarter of fuel after an almost complete rebuild of the running gear and while the rear is apparently out of trueit drove beautifully with the only niggle a check engine light which Marinabrian tells me is a loose connection on the fuel filter

Been to Sheffield today to pic up the straights. I was going to get them refurbed in a more chrome look finish, but I have decided for now to go with original silver sparkle. A couple will be getting a light refurb but they don't need anything major and come with tyres as well. Thanks Dave! Just pondering on the best approach with centre caps now!
