The Mysterious Yellow Button FBH Remote.....
Many Many years ago I bought my First MG ZTT Which has now returned to my ownership in very poor condition.
This was a very High spec car but I didnt know that at the time and it came with a key which had a yellow button in the left rear corner which turned the FBH on and off. Sadly when I got her back last year the original keys had been lost and everyone I speak to has never heard of this remote. My question is has anyone else ever seen a remote like this or was it a one off? Richard PS if anyone has a remote of any kind to turn a FBH on and off would they be willing to sell it to me? |
I assume you do not mean a Webasto remote fob which is a type of key fob but without any key blade and just has a couple of buttons ?
If its not above then it sounds like a 1 off to me. Aftermarket remotes can be added relatively cheaply these days. |
Hi
No not a stand alone webasto, if it was a one off it was done very well as it looked just like an OEM key fob. Mind you the car had pubble lights wired in to so maybe it was (sadly the bloke who bought it from me ripped them out and I do mean ripped.) |
Sounds like it was definitely a retrofit remote.
